Idlib (The Revolution Lives)

Idlib (The Revolution Lives)

This song is in solidarity with the people of Idlib, Syria who continue to protest, rally, and march for their human rights despite seven years of the worst atrocities imaginable perpetrated by the Assad regime, its proxies, and other extremist groups.

In 2011, I began singing in support of the revolution in Syria and in protest of the horrors brought upon the citizens of Syria by its own government. Seven years later, my passion for the revolution still burns.

Both here in the United States and six thousand miles away in Syria, determined people of conscience have never stopped working on the dream of a free and democratic Syria. In September of 2018, the people of Idlib have breathed new hope and energy into the righteous cause of their freedom and self determination in huge waves of peaceful protests, and for that I say thank you!
